Shea Butter
INCI : BUTYROSPERMUM PARKII BUTTER
Shea butter is a solid fatty oil made from the nuts of Karite Nut trees, also known as Mangifolia, that grow in the semi-arid savannah regions of West and Central Africa.
Shea butter is a complex fat that has a very low melting point (just below body temprature) and therefore ideally suited to produce rich moisturisers as well as being a excellent addition in lip balms. Shea Butter is also a good addition to soaps where the product does not interfere with the lather production
Shea Butter contains, besides many nonsaponifiable components a fatty acid distribution as shown in the composition tab.
